they told me you had been to her
and did not mention me
did not tell me youd be gone
to somewhere i could not see

i gave you one
you gave her two
returned to me
what was mine before

i gave you what you wanted
as you lied to me
i shant do it again
should you offer it to me

chance i took
in this sordid affair
as i trusted you
much too much to set me free

my notion was that you had been
an obstacle in my way
but i fear that it was she
a cow who stood in between

dont let me know you liked her best
dont let her know shes like the rest
forever this will be
a secret kept between you and me
